Bright Ide and Bushy Tailed is an apt name for this blog. It is both an excellent pun (thank you, thank you) and a happy-go-lucky way to live life. This blog started out as a journal to document a cross country road trip my husband and I took after I was laid off from my job in San Diego. We spent almost three months on the road, stopping at National Parks and camping out in our rad teardrop trailer. Our road trip is now over, but the adventure is just beginning! We have started a new chapter in our lives: organic farming in Washington State! Every day on the farm is full of difficult challenges that yield immense rewards, and we wouldn’t have it any other way. Life is an adventure, let’s go have some fun!

I love the blog and the plan to travel together. When Brian and I were newlyweds, we took a desert road trip in a car sans A/C. We camped in a 2-man tent and came away liking each other a lot more. I’m not on Facebook yet (such a dinosaur), but I’m signing up for your blog.
